City of Savannah to offer free CPR training | Community Spirit
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - As a part of the city's goal to have 6,000 Savannahians trained in Hands-Only CPR, the city of Savannah will hold free CPR training sessions at the Savannah Civic Center. These training sessions are open to the public.
The classes will be offered on April 4th and 6th. Over the course of that Thursday and Saturday, the City will offer 16 separate training sessions, each lasting approximately one hour. Each participant will receive a Hands-Only CPR kit, which will contain various training materials, including a CPR dummy torso and an instructional DVD.
While the CPR classes are free, each participant must pledge to train five other people of their choosing in this hands-on CPR technique. Classes are filling up fast and registration is required. Particpants may sign up or find more information here.
